I've met a lot of men who think performing oral sex on women is some Big Ass Gift for which they deserve awards, accolades, perhaps a parade or two in their honor.

These men rarely feel the same way about blowjobs.

I think there are some cultural norms at work, here. I can't even think of a movie in which a man goes down on a woman, even during supposedly "good" sex. Men of my generation just did not grow up with the idea that oral sex is something normal or natural or something women might expect from them.

Hence, the annoying bullshit answers like "I just don't have the skills," with zero investment in increasing those skills.
