Maybe it’s a generational thing. My generation grew up knowing that eating a certain way was necessary to be healthy. I’ve always eaten that way. Hasn’t made a bit of difference. My chronic illness is lung-related. It’s auto immune combined with asthma from the fires in CA—global warming. Eating one way or another won’t heal my lungs, unfortunately, and my doctor doesn’t recommend exercise when I have bronchitis that lasts months on end.
Literally, the medical recommendation is rest, not exercise. Anything else is dangerous because not being able to breathe is dangerous.
I think boomers have learned to eat healthy recently and that’s been good.
My generation already knew.
