Men create other women situations then blame the women because they know they can get away with it. Men like to date women who fit well into their existing communities and friend groups regardless of what they actually want sexually or emotionally, so they simultaneously pursue other women as potential future love interests. Meanwhile they avoid putting anything in writing so they can always shrug and say, you misunderstood, I wasn’t serious, you shouldn’t have taken me at my word.
Women tend to blame ourselves for being too romantic or too quick to fall rather than recognizing that what these men literally just said is that they shouldn’t be trusted and they are playing games deliberately with other people’s well-being.
