Men seem to truly believe that “good” women will function like sleeping beauty and come alive sexually the minute we meet them, and not a second before.

In a way, that’s true, perhaps. Love makes sex so much better. But women face the same social pressures as men to date and hook up, feel the same loneliness, the same animal drive for sex. Men don’t wait to meet “the one.” Why should we shape our whole lives around their insecurities?
