My perspective is: have the conversation first. Even if it feels awkward. If you think sex might be on the horizon, talk about it! If you aren’t ready to talk about it, you’re not ready to have it.

And totally hear you-but I also think some of it is women’s fault. Women are being brainwashed by raunch culture into thinking we need to be uninhibited and spontaneous or men won’t want us. Those of us who didn’t grow up with men are being taught that men expect us to be experienced and casual about sex.

I think it’s so healthy to have clearheaded and kind conversations about sex like this.
