My response is simple: I don't do the man's share of the work.

If it doesn't get done, it doesn't get done.

He'll eventually do it, and if he doesn't, it won't get done.

If he becomes belligerent or cruel or hostile about my choice not to do his work for him, then he can leave.

Women have choices. It's time we use them.
