Recently, a man tried to seduce me in a situation in which he had far more power than I did.
I said no because I thought he had a girlfriend.
Turns out he had a girlfriend but was in an open relationship..which I found out when I walked in on him with someone else.
I would never have consented to sex, or even to be pursued romantically, had I known this situation going in.
Consent requires clear communication.
