Sort of. You post your story on Medium, you’re pretty much inviting a response. You don’t get to them say “well you don’t know the whole story.”
Like, yeah, I just read your one essay and had a reaction. That’s how this whole thing works.
If you don’t want other to react to what you share, then turn off comments.
But don’t pull this “if you don’t agree with my response it’s cuz you don’t know every detail” thing.
Your essay’s all about how you have no control over a situation that you totally have control over.
It’s boring.
