Sure. But is that any different from men who insist on seeking female partners based on physical standards that don't necessarily reflect their own personal preferences, or what would make them happiest, or anything but the most shallow of sentiments? No it is not.

We all must judge people quickly on dating apps. Judging based on someone's job is a way to dismiss people who seem to be unserious about their lives. Sure, you'll have to dismiss some good ones with the bad. But you'll also have yourself an easy way to dismiss people who are uninterested in committing to being a responsible adult. That's no small thing.

Developing any standards whatsoever is a difficult thing for women in today's society to do. Honor women who dare to do it. Don't tear them down for not keeping an open enough mind. That's how women end up settling.
