Thanks, Daisy. I agree. I hated myself over it for a long time. I thought I could fix him. But I was just using him to avoid going on my own personal journey.

He didn’t love me. I was the perfect woman until I made mistakes or until any of my marginalized identities showed.

I’m sure there were a lot of temporarily perfect women before me. There will be after me, too.
