That’s not untrue. The women who have spoken out most have been attacked and shamed. Even Jennifer Lawrence, once the biggest movie star in the world, started getting negative reviews once she began criticizing the wage gap publicly. But there’s a personal cost to keeping silent as well. And if all these women who were pushed out started to reach out to each other and banded together to form production companies and fight the system with op-eds then things really might change.
