The disagreement I have with your article is that women don't have the power that men do. "Free the nipple" assumes that we do have that power already, that by asserting ourselves in a certain way then we can claim that power. But many/most of us do not have that power or have access to it. Women who are older, not athletic, fat, women who are of color and live in historically racist societies, don't have access to that power. It doesn't matter how much other women "free the nipple," that power won't ever extend to these women--or if it does, it will be in a "trickle down" way, predicated on the goodwill of these other women, subject to their bullying and shaming/stigmatizing. That's not real freedom.
