The thing that bothers me about treating love bombing as a red flag is that it very much feels to me as though men expect to control the progression of the relationship, and freak when they can’t. So if the woman seems “too interested,” in his individual view, then he views that as a Problem.

I guess I’m just sick of my community really clearly believing that a man who falls all over a woman is being romantic, but a woman who expresses direct sexual interest in a man is violating his masculine privilege.

Let’s not pretend these assertions have nothing to do with sexism.
