There’s a difference between “competing,” which is a very odd way to frame my comment on the experiences of strangers who don’t describe themselves as abused, as opposed to critiquing someone’s personal interpretation of someone else’s experience.
The very fact that you could not imagine any other reason I might have to share my story other than “competition” speaks volumes.

Why are you competing with me—then accusing me of your own actions?
