There's a reason there's no equivalent male phrase for "letting herself go." Having a dad bod is not considered something to be ashamed of, whereas wearing mom jeans-just jeans!-is considered a social faux pas. Truth is, men are worth more on the dating marketplace, and we all know it.

It sucks, but no one knows what to do about it.
