Also—I’ve noticed that white women start looking very scared around me when I get comfortable enough to start feeling and acting as strong as I actually am. The actual reason is role disturbance and social fear—they’re scared they’ll lose social power and economic resources to me. However, they inevitably construct a narrative about how I’ve violated their boundary, taken something from them-a man, a job-or am behaving in a destabilizing or “crazy” way. White women need everyone to act like they do, but need everyone else to behave in submissive and humiliating ways that demonstrate low self-esteem. If we don’t, they’re threatened. Eventually, they’ll try to hurt us.
That’s true even if we’re white but exoticized due to being Jewish, having lots of other marginalized identities, having dis identified with whiteness, etc.
