This rings so, so true to my own experience. Men automatically assume that I’m lying, incorrect, or crazy whenever I say something that threatens their worldview or obligates them to mentally stretch even a tiny bit. I have two graduate degrees but the fact I also have PTSD is their trump card, as far as they’re concerned. It’s disgusting and despicable.
