When I was growing up, college was THE answer to economic woes. I’ve been chasing that fantasy ever since. I have two graduate degrees, one from a fancy university, and you know what? I should have stayed home and accepted the job working as a secretary at the local veterinarian’s. Now I’m still overqualified for the jobs I’m actually getting and the advanced degrees aren’t doing a damn thing.
