Why do people assume that women are only talking about our victimization to get attention, whereas men have some sort of noble purpose?
Why are men believed and validated, whereas women are criticized and critiqued for not fighting back well enough?
If we swallow the insults and attacks, we’re accepting our victimization and then it’s our fault because we have low self-esteem. If we don’t, we’re drawing too much attention to ourselves and we’re never perfect victims anyway.
