Yes!! Completely agree. I don’t actually care whether total strangers are attracted to me or not. I don’t care whether somebody would date me if only I were skinnier or more stereotypically feminine than I am. But you know what does hurt? When guys act interested but make it clear simultaneously that they don’t respect me because of one marginalized identity or another. That hurts.
