You’re entitled to your perspective. But the line between cheating and promiscuity isn’t so clear when you add in mental illness, or pressure so many of us (especially men) feel to run and hide from our emotions and our conflicts rather than face them. The idea that anything is okay as long as someone is honest about their relationship status is nonsense and blatantly ignorant of power dynamics. Ethics really ought to mean more than that.
